Do you have a passion for writing and an interest in mobile technology and apps? We’re searching for a junior-level Quality Assurance Writer – Mobile App Reviewer to join our growing team. Your key responsibility will be to test and assess different mobile applications and interactive games, making sure they meet our high quality benchmarks, and then produce detailed written assessments of your findings.
In this position, you’ll partner with our development and design specialists to identify technical issues and problems within applications. Your insightful observations will contribute to making apps more user-friendly and intuitive. You’ll also be responsible for documenting your observations in detailed written reports that highlight issues discovered and recommend ways to improve the product.
Roles: Your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Installing applications on your mobile device or tablet.
- Systematically testing all features and functions within the application.
- Writing clear, concise summaries of your testing experience.
- Recording any bugs, errors, or areas needing improvement.
Prerequisites: You’ll need to own at least one of the following devices:
- iPhone
- iPad
- Android Smartphone
- Android Tablet
Contract Length: Open-ended arrangement with no fixed end date
Rate: $35 hourly (Your actual compensation may fluctuate based on app difficulty and thoroughness expectations for each assignment)
Skills/Background Required:
- Possession of a mobile device or tablet with the ability to download and navigate apps effectively.
- Comfort managing projects on your own without constant oversight.
- Strong attention to detail when following specific guidelines and protocols.
- Willingness to dedicate a minimum of 5 hours each week to the role.
- Consistent, reliable internet access.
Hours per Week: Flexible scheduling options available
