This position is ideal for those who prefer working from home and want to break into the field of app evaluation and testing. The insights you provide will help improve app quality and guide future users in making informed choices about which applications to download and use.
Roles: Your main task will involve installing apps onto your mobile device and thoroughly exploring all their capabilities and features. Following this evaluation, you’ll compose a concise summary detailing your findings and identifying any issues you encountered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and test multiple mobile applications across different categories including entertainment, utilities, wellness, and more.
- Deliver comprehensive and candid commentary regarding app interface, visual appeal, technical performance, and overall satisfaction.
- Create comprehensive evaluations and summaries outlining your observations and suggestions for enhancement.
- Keep pace with emerging innovations and shifts within the mobile application industry.
Rate: $25 – $35 hourly (Rate varies based on app intricacy and the depth of analysis needed for your evaluation)
Skills/background needed:
- Ownership of a functional mobile device or tablet with the capability to download and launch applications.
- Capacity to operate without direct oversight or micromanagement
- Strong attention to detail when executing specific testing guidelines and protocols
- Minimum 5+ hours per week that you can dedicate to testing
- Stable broadband or mobile internet access
Hours per week: You decide your own schedule.
Location: Work from anywhere with internet access globally (United States applicants are particularly encouraged). We’re actively recruiting additional distributed team members for this role.
