In this Junior App Reviewer / Tester position, you’ll engage with a diverse range of mobile applications, assessing their functionality, design, and user experience. Your observations and critiques will play a meaningful role in influencing how these applications evolve. The position provides a collaborative atmosphere where you can strengthen your critical thinking abilities and gain practical experience in quality assurance testing.
Roles: You will install apps on your mobile device and systematically evaluate their functionality across all features. Following your testing session, you’ll compose a concise assessment documenting your impressions and noting any problems you encounter.
Rate: $25 – $35 hourly (Varies based on app complexity and the depth of analysis needed for your assessment)
Key Responsibilities:
- Test a broad selection of applications across multiple operating systems and devices.
- Deliver comprehensive observations regarding app stability, design quality, and user journey.
- Build competency in recognizing and recording technical glitches and malfunctions found while testing.
- Work alongside seasoned professionals in the testing community to learn industry standards.
- Attend educational workshops to expand your knowledge of mobile technologies and testing approaches.
Prerequisites: You must have access to a minimum of one device from this list: iPhone, iPad, Android phone, or Android tablet
Contract length: Open-ended, no predetermined endpoint
Hours per week: Variable based on your availability
